Privacy Policy

MealMind does not collect your personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no servers that receive your data. Everything you do in the app — your pantry, favorites, shopping list, meal plans, and cooking history — is stored only on your device. We have no way to see it, and it is never sold or shared.

Information We Collect

We collect none. MealMind has no user accounts and does not transmit any information to us or to any third party. The app’s recipe content is bundled inside the app itself, so it works without sending your activity anywhere.

Information Stored on Your Device

To make the app useful, MealMind saves your choices in your device’s local storage. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded. It includes:

• App preferences (language, theme, units, and reminder settings)
• Your pantry ingredients, favorite recipes, and shopping list
• Your meal plans and cooking history
• Any image you choose to set within the app

Because this information lives only on your device, deleting the app removes it.

Device Permissions

MealMind asks for the following permissions only when needed, and only to power on-device features:

• Notifications — used to send optional local reminders (such as a daily meal suggestion or a shopping-list nudge). These are scheduled and shown by your device; nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off any time in Settings.
• Photos — if you choose to set a picture in the app, MealMind opens your photo library so you can pick one. The selected image stays on your device and is never uploaded.
• Audio & Speech — MealMind can read recipe steps aloud using your device’s text-to-speech and play cooking-timer sounds. The app does not record audio and does not use your microphone.

Analytics, Advertising & Tracking

MealMind contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or third-party marketing or analytics SDKs, and we do not build profiles of you.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information — because we do not collect or receive it in the first place.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is stored locally and remains only as long as the app is installed. You can clear it at any time by removing items within the app or by uninstalling MealMind, which deletes all associated on-device data.

Children’s Privacy

MealMind is a general-audience cooking app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
